Sinuwak is a name for Visayan blade style with a clip point. The blades have chisel edge and are hardened. The top section of the blade is dark due to oxidation from heat while forging and the edge is polished. Wood handle has an octagonal iron grip sleeve on the outside and serves to keep that section intact and long lasting. The hardwood pommel is traditional style used for the last 200 years +. Nice wood scabbard has three to four thin bands of braided strips. Top part of the scabbard is covered with a cowhide.
