Sword training using a wood model is both safe and affordable. The size and weight of the wood is important.

 Kamagong wood is one of the heaviest hardwood belonging to the ebony family. Some have dark and lighter streaks but others are all dark with a few speckle of light or dark brown. Advance students and guros prefer the weight and attractive look of the Kamagong Wood Bolo.

 Kris Cutlery Kamagong Wood Bolo has a total length of 24-1/2”. The blade section is 18-1/4” long with a 5/8” thickness tapering towards the point. Interesting traditional style handle is 6-1/4” long with an octagonal (8 sides) cross section.  The blade design is a called Bonifacio with the typical clip point.  It weighs slightly under 1 lb.
