595.00

The blade is 14-1/4” long with 13 waves. It has a pamor or lamination pattern called kulit semangka or water melon skin. Due to repeated cleaning with lime, the blade looks old. One piece bone handle has carvings. The mendak or ferrule is simple white brass metal.

Upper part of the scabbard is bone showing a carved lion lying down. Two halves of the bone are riveted together with bone dowels. Lower part of the scabbard is made of light color brass with an opening on one side covered with red cloth with tiny dark rectangular designs.

From Madura, Indonesia and is about 50 + old with the blade probably older.
