Single edge blade is 26-3/4” long, 5/16” thick at the guard and tapers to 1/8” thick an inch from the point. Wooden cross guard has an iron staple on the right side. This acts a guard to the knuckle side on the right hand. Typical wood grip has a fork back section depicting a gaping jaw of a crocodile. Rattan strips is wrapped on the grip and around the guard, slightly loose on the center. Handle including guard is 9-5/8”. Total weight is 1# 15 oz.
The blade and handle is in very good condition for its’ age. From Mindanao circa late 1800.
