A spear with a triangular double edge blade. Slightly "waisted" edges lessen the weight without sacrificing the effectiveness of the tip. A long bohi (groove) is found on the flat side of the blade. The ricasso has three panels on top. The hamon (temper line) is combination of straight (suguha) and notare (gentle wave) found on the both edges.
