TEUTONIC SWORD
A German two hand sword design that was popular during
the early 16th century. It has a long fishtail pommel
of blackened iron. The blade has a flattened diamond
cross section tapering to a point. Blackened iron
straight quillons /cross guard ending in knobs and a
small leaf-shape projection in the middle. Hardwood
grip is an oval cross section and wrapped with cotton
cord lacquered black.
The blade is hardened and tempered to give some flex and
durability in use. Teutonic Sword has an excellent
balance. Very limited production and one of the best
Medieval sword in - quality and price. (shp. Wt. 7 lbs.)
