HK2 The original design came about sometime in the early 70's. The concept was to make use of the blade immediately without opening the handle. However, only part of the blade is exposed. Not until the handles are flicked open that the full length of the blade can be utilized. The 5 1/16 inches single edge blade has a false edge on top. When closed, only 2 inches of the blade is exposed. The handle is a manageable 3 7/16 inches long made of brass with bone inserts. An innovative side latch is part of this interesting handle design.
