KATANA BLADE 29 This hand forged Katana blade has a Shinogi Zukuri cross section where the thickest part of the blade is on the ridge line (shinogi). A straight temper line (hamon) is slightly visible and is 1/4 to 1/2 inch wide and is produced by water quenching. The resulting edge is very hard with a softer section on top. Iron habaki is removable. Ready to be mounted as a Shirasaya Katana or full mount Katana. This is one of the best katana blades from Kris Cutlery.
