SEAX II #4547

39.00 65.00

This is a blemished item. The blade is attached to handle in an angle. Please check one of the photos for illustration. The discounted price reflects that imperfection. Not readily noticeable.

Also known as Scramasax. The single edge blade is 11-1/2” long with a 7” groove on one side.  Near the handle the thick blade is slightly over ¼” and tapers to 1/8” an inch from the tip. This gives the dagger a nice balance. A polished 1060 steel blade is used with differentially tempered edge.

Simple utilitarian wood handle is 5” long with an octagonal cross section. The same type of wood similar to Agathis is used as a scabbard.
