BASILARD -Medieval Dagger

A Medieval dagger that was popular in the 14th century Europe. Typical handle has“H” shape.  

The blade has a triangular shape and measures 6-3/4”. Near the guard the blade is ¼” thick.  Made from 1060/1050 carbon steel, the blade is tempered and has a 2” groove on top. Wood handle is beautiful Molave with light brown stain. The bottom and top part of the handle have polished iron cross piece.

Matching Molave wood scabbard has metal pins to minimize splitting.
