A kris with 3 waves on the blade, 14 inches long.  Pamor or lamination pattern on the blade is called kulit-semanka  or water melon skin.   The lower ganja or guard has a chiseled seated Singa Barong or seated lion. Blade has folded steel-iron-nickel. The iron-steel turns black and the nickel alloy shows up as silver after etching with arsenic acid and lime juice.  

Handle has a nice floral carvings and a brass ferrule. Wood scabbard has floral carvings on one side. This is a Madura kris about 20+ years old.
