The deadly leaf-shape blade is almost 16 1/2 inches long, 2 1/2 inches wide and 1/4 of an inch thick near the handle. The blade is clean overall for its’ age and show laminations and square patches here and there. The grip on the handle has a silver metal sleeve with some oxidation. The back part of the handle is the typical stylized “bird’s head” with small protrusions favored in combat. Nice original scabbrd has some carvings on top and bottom. From Sulu used by the Tausugs, Yakans, and Samals. Circa 1890-1915. $325
